How it works
From photo to diary in four steps
No spreadsheets and no hunting for products by name. One photo replaces minutes of typing.
01A short survey
Sex, age, height, weight and goal. Calma works out your daily calorie limit and macros.
02A photo of your meal
AI recognises the food and the portion size in seconds — at home, at work or eating out.
03A quick fix if needed
Change the weight, add or remove ingredients. The AI result always stays editable.
04Save to your diary
Breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. Your daily limit updates straight away.
Full control
Fix every ingredient and gram
Most counters only let you append a new product to the AI result. In Calma you edit the weight of each ingredient separately — or correct the meal in a plain sentence.
“no dressing, add 50 g rice”
- The weight of each ingredient, not just the whole dish
- A text correction instead of tapping through fields
- Only what adds up actually reaches your diary

Who it is for
For people who want to eat normally
For people who want to keep an eye on weight and nutrition without fanaticism and without giving up the food they like. It also works when you eat out often, travel and face an unfamiliar dish.
Calma is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. An AI result is an estimate, not a lab measurement.
FAQ
The questions people actually ask
How accurate is Calma at counting calories from a photo?
An AI result is an estimate, not a lab measurement. That is why we always show it as editable: you can change the dish name, the weight of the whole meal and the weight of each ingredient before anything reaches your diary.
Is Calma free?
The first 3 AI scans are free and need no card. Manual entry, the diary and statistics keep working afterwards. Unlimited scans cost 29.99 zł a month or 89.99 zł a year.
Do I have to type anything manually?
You do not — a photo is enough. But if you would rather type the product and its weight by hand, that option is always there, along with your own portions such as “1 tablespoon” or “1 pack”.
What if the AI gets the dish wrong?
You fix it on a single screen: the name, the weight of the whole meal and the weight of each ingredient separately. You can also describe the correction in a sentence, for example “no dressing, add 50 g rice”.
Does Calma take the weight of a product into account?
Yes. Nutrition values are stored per 100 g and every diary entry carries its own weight, so the same item counts differently at 80 g and at 250 g.
Are my photos safe?
Photos go to private storage that only your account can reach. The Privacy Policy covers the details — what we store, for how long and what your rights are.
Which languages does the app support?
Polish and English. You switch the language in your profile, independently of your phone settings.
How do I cancel the subscription?
In your Apple ID account settings, like any other App Store subscription. Turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Try it calmly, without the fanaticism
No kitchen scale and no spreadsheets. See how the AI counts a meal from a photo before you decide about a subscription.
